100 years of TISI Sangam

Serving Fiji since 1926

We Celebrate 100 Years!

This year marks 100 years since our founder, Sevaka Ratnam Sadhu Kuppuswamy, first began this movement with a simple but powerful vision — to educate, inspire, and uplift the South Indian community through faith, culture, service, and unity. From modest beginnings, Sangam has grown into a respected socio-economic, cultural, and educational institution that has shaped generations in Fiji.

Over the past century, Sangam’s commitment to education, cultural preservation, community service, and youth development has remained unwavering. These values continue to guide our work and define our identity as a proud and contributing stakeholder in Fiji’s multicultural society.

As part of our Centenary Celebrations, a series of commemorative activities is being planned throughout the year, focusing on cultural heritage, educational initiatives, community engagement, and recognition of the invaluable contributions of our members and founding leaders. These activities will not only honour our past but also inspire future generations to carry forward the Sangam vision.

This centenary is both a celebration of legacy and a renewal of our commitment to serve with sincerity, integrity, and unity for the next hundred years.
